It’s been a few years since our last productions, but
we’re back with some new documentaries! We recently
picked up the Canon 7D, a new camera that’s taking
the indie film industry by storm. The camera allows
you to shoot film-quality footage at a fraction of
the cost of other cameras. It’s an amazing piece of
gear that is revolutionizing the industry.
This year we’ve already completed two short documentary films with the camera. The first, “In The Rainforest”, highlights our visit to the Buffalo Zoo Rainforest Exhibit with our three month old daughter, Penelope. It was a fun little project to get our feet wet with the camera, and Penelope stole the show.
The second film, “Light”, follows the creation of a copper lamp by Richard Foley, or as Penelope likes to call him, “Grandpa Rich”. It’s cool to get behind the scenes and see what goes into making a piece of art.
We’re looking forward to working on some more small projects in the coming months. It’ll be tricky with a new boss in town (especially one as bossy as Penelope), but we can’t wait for the next film to get started. So stay tuned!
